These are the rules for using Flameus, run by Frautten Enterprises LLC. By creating an account you agree to them.
You must be 18 or older
Flameus is only for people 18 and older. When you sign up, you confirm you are.
Beta
Flameus is in an invite-only beta. Features can change, and sometimes things will break. Don't rely on Flameus as your only reminder for something critical.
A coach, not a ghostwriter
- Flameus helps you plan, understand and practice. It won't do your graded work for you, and it steps away during quizzes and tests.
- Follow your school's academic integrity rules. Don't use Flameus during quizzes or tests, and don't submit its words as yours.
- Don't use Flameus to break the law, harass anyone, or get into accounts or data that aren't yours.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
Your stuff stays yours
You own what you put into Flameus. You let Flameus use it only to run the service for you. See the Privacy page for what's kept and how to delete it.
Flameus is an AI assistant, and it can be wrong
Canvas and your professors are the source of truth for dates, assignments and grades. Flameus can misread a syllabus, miss a change or get an answer wrong, so check anything important against Canvas, your syllabus and your professor. Practice questions are made by AI and your real exam may differ.
Errands (beta)
- Errands let Flameus use a cloud browser for you: find and compare things on public websites, or find an open restaurant table and give you a link to book it yourself. If an errand ever needs to submit something for you, it asks first and only does it after you tap yes.
- It never signs in to your accounts, buys anything, enters payment details or passwords, or does schoolwork or opens school sites.
- Websites change and prices, times and availability can be wrong or out of date. Check the details on the site before you rely on them. The booking itself is between you and the business, under its own terms.
- You can watch the browser, take over or stop at any time. Errands count toward your plan's monthly limit.
Plans, Boost packs and refunds
- Free stays free. Plus is $9.99 a month or $79 a year, billed through Stripe by Frautten Enterprises LLC. It renews automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime in Settings → Plan. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for, then you're back on Free. Monthly payments aren't refunded for part of a month.
- Yearly Plus: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of paying (Settings → Plan). After that, it runs to the end of the year.
- Boost packs ($4.99) add voice minutes, screen help and errands for the month you buy them; they don't carry over and aren't refundable once used.
- If a payment fails, Plus continues while we retry for a short time; if it can't be collected, you go back to Free.
- Beta Plus from an invite is free until the date shown, and never turns into a charge unless you choose to keep Plus and add a card.
- Deadlines, Canvas sync, reminders and check-ins work on every plan.
- If prices change, we'll tell you before your next renewal.
Ending your account
You can stop using Flameus and delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
No warranty
Flameus is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Frautten Enterprises LLC isn't liable for indirect losses, like a missed deadline or a lower grade.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
